Green Venture lumber is manufactured as solid profiles from 100% post-consumer recycled HDPE, extruded at our facility in Arusha.
It is used where timber is exposed to moisture, insects or heavy handling: subframes, posts, bearers, fencing, site furniture and fabricated components.
Profiles are cut, drilled and fixed with standard carpentry tools, so existing site teams can work with the material without retraining.

Can recycled plastic lumber replace timber in a structure?
It replaces timber in non-load-bearing and semi-structural work: joists for decks, framing for walkways, posts, bearers, fascias, pergolas and site furniture. For primary structural spans we design a steel sub-frame and use the lumber for everything fixed to it. Send us your drawings and we will advise on the exact build-up.
How is it cut and fixed on site?
Exactly like hardwood. Standard saws, drills and screws. We recommend pre-drilling and stainless or galvanised fixings, and leaving a small expansion gap at the ends of long runs.
Does it need painting, sealing or treatment?
No. There is no coating to maintain — colour runs through the whole profile. Wash it with water and detergent when it needs it.
What lengths and sections are available?
Standard profiles include 4×1.5 inch planks alongside a range of sections and lengths. Available configurations and cut-to-length options are confirmed in your quotation.
