1. Who you are contracting with
Green Venture Limited is a manufacturer of solid recycled HDPE building materials registered and operating in Tanzania, with its factory in Njiro Industrial Area, Arusha, Tanzania. In these terms "we", "us" and "Green Venture" mean Green Venture Limited, and "you" means the person or organisation placing the order.
By placing an order through this website, by WhatsApp, by email or on a signed quotation, you accept these terms. If you are ordering on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
2. Quotations, prices and taxes
Prices shown on the website are in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) and apply to standard profiles and finishes. Prices for project work are confirmed in a written quotation.
Unless a quotation states otherwise, a quotation is valid for 30 days from its date. Prices exclude delivery, offloading, installation, and any statutory taxes or duties, which are shown separately where they apply.
Online calculator and estimator results are indicative guidance for planning only. They are not a quotation and do not form part of a contract.
3. Orders and acceptance
An order becomes binding when we confirm it in writing (email, WhatsApp or an order confirmation) and, where a deposit is required, when the deposit has cleared.
We may decline or cancel an order where the item is unavailable, where a price or specification error is apparent, or where we cannot verify the payment or the delivery details.
4. Payment
Standard terms are a deposit on order confirmation and the balance before dispatch or installation handover, unless a written credit arrangement has been agreed.
Online payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card or mobile-money credentials.
Goods remain the property of Green Venture until payment has been received in full. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection.
5. Lead times, delivery and collection
Lead times are confirmed per order and depend on volume, profile and finish. Dates given are good-faith estimates, not guarantees, and may be affected by transport, weather, utilities or raw-material supply.
You are responsible for safe site access, offloading arrangements where agreed, and for inspecting goods on arrival. Please record any shortage, transit damage or visible defect on the delivery note and notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
6. Installation and site work
Where we install, you are responsible for providing safe access, a prepared substrate or ground condition as specified, and any permits required for the site.
Variations to an agreed scope are priced and confirmed in writing before the additional work starts.
7. Cancellation and changes
Standard stock items may be cancelled before dispatch. Bespoke, cut-to-size, custom-colour and made-to-order items enter production on confirmation and cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
Where cancellation is accepted, we may retain a reasonable amount to cover materials already committed, machine time and transport.
8. Product characteristics
Recycled HDPE is a natural-feedstock product. Minor variation in colour tone, surface texture and fleck is normal between batches and is not a defect.
The material expands and contracts with temperature. Published fixing gaps, joist centres and support spans must be followed for our warranty to apply.
9. Liability
We are responsible for supplying goods that match the agreed specification and for carrying out any installation with reasonable skill and care.
To the extent permitted by Tanzanian law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of use. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Tanzanian courts. We will always try to resolve a concern directly first.
